As the global demographic changes, with longer life expectancies, drug development companies will need to show data that their drug candidates are effective in over 65s, currently often excluded from clinical trials.  BioKinetic Europe conducts clinical trials in healthy volunteers and certain patient populations.  Part of the BioKinetic database comprises a robust number of healthy elderly subjects.  BioKinetic has conducted several clinical trials using this subject group, usually as an added cohort to a health volunteer study (Aged 18-65), and we have seen a rise in demand for clinical studies to be designed in this manner.
